Live in/ Health Care Assistants/ Senior Health Care Assistants.

Equator Personnel Ltd is recruiting healthcare assistants to work with our client's. The aim of 24-hour care is to provide round the clock care for our clients in our various contracted locations as efficient as possible, carrying out tasks in a professional, discreet and caring manner whilst respecting their dignity, privacy, property and confidentiality.

Locations: Berkshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire.

Salary: £21,000 p.a

Responsibilities:

This role involves staying in the Client’s home, providing all aspects of personal and domestic care, including:

• Assistance with all aspects of personal care, including:
• Showering and bathing
• Dressing and grooming
• Toileting and incontinence
• Assistance with all aspects of medication and the usage of aids and personal equipment such as ceiling track hoist or walking aids.
• Assistance with day-to-day tasks such as meal preparation, gardening, cleaning, and laundry.
• Organising care plans for allocated residents and giving medications
• Leading a team of carers during a shift (For Senior Carers)
• Providing companionship, and support in the customers mental and physical activities, such as taking them shopping or to the cinema, reading and photo albums, or talking to them over cups of tea.
• Help patients who need assistance standing or walking.
• Inform the management staff of any problems.
• Record daily activities, service hours, and observations, and keep track of them.
• Make those services are provided by sector rules, practices, and standards.
• Use machinery to transfer patients when required.
• Make the patient’s house or room more orderly.
• Reassure patients by speaking with them.
• Aid nurses and other employees when necessary.
• Ensure to always heed the rules of professionalism.

Rota Pattern:

Our pattern of work various of what the carer can do , and each day, you would have a two hour breakaway from the customer’s house or if preferred, for this break to be together as a complete day off.
